Egypt and Greece have wrapped up the joint naval drills ‘Alexandria 2016’.

The military exercise is meant to exchange expertise with various countries, enhance fighting potentials of the Egyptian navy and promote bilateral military ties.

The maneuvers, which ran for several days, were conducted in the Egyptian territorial water in Alexandria.

The exercise included the implementation of several activities such as naval combat and maritime interdiction as well as combating sea piracy.
