Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, and Erik Solheim, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme, have signed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of four environmental projects.

The projects aim to protect the environment in the region and conserve and develop natural resources for sustainable development in line with sustainable development goals 2030.
