President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, has received Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mubarak Al Qasimi, UAE Ambassador to Armenia and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Georgia.

During the meeting, which was held in Tbilisi, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Both parties praised the development of relations between the UAE and Georgia during the last period, and means of expanding them in various fields.

President Margvelashvili said that the UAE is the first economic partner of Georgia in the Middle East
