HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi highlighted the significance of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's visit to Ethiopia which marks the developing bilateral relations in all areas.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE the Qatari Ambassador said that HH the Emir will discuss with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and President Mulatu Teshome the relations between the two countries and means of bolstering cooperation in all economic, political, investment, social and cultural areas, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
HE the Ambassador believed that HH the Emir's visit to Ethiopia, the first stop of HH African tour, would contribute to further promoting relations between Doha and Addis Ababa, to achieve the common will of both leaderships to upgrade bilateral relations to wider horizons.
Meanwhile, HE Ambassador Al Rumaihi stressed the importance of Ethiopia as the headquarters of the African Union and one of the rapid economic growing countries, in addition to its huge population (100 million) and its vast and fertile agricultural lands.
