South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kang Hoin praised efforts made by the Egyptian government to proceed with achieving economic development after consolidating the political stability.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail in the presence of Egypt’s transport minister.
During the meeting, Hoin asserted that his country is willing to provide experience to Egypt in the field of economic reform.
The meeting comes within the framework of following up the implementation of the signed projects and working on pushing forward bilateral ties in various fields, especially in the development, economic and investment domains.
Furthermore, the South Korean minister welcomed a proposal to establish a joint committee between the two states, stressing that the South Korean government and its companies are keen on seizing the available investment opportunities as well as existing and future projects at the Egyptian market.
South Korea is looking forward to contributing to developing Egyptian industries and enhancing the efficiency of Egyptian workforce in addition to participating in the projects to expand and upgrade the underground and railway through soft loans, Hoin said.
