Two Turkish soldiers were killed and four others were injured during military operations conducted by the Turkish security forces in southeastern Sirnak province against the PKK organization at the Gabar mountain.
The Turkish army added in a statement Saturday that one militant was killed and one was injured as arrested during clashes between the soldiers and the PKK militants.
The PKK resumed its armed campaign in July 2015 and since then has been responsible for the deaths of around 1,100 security personnel and civilians, including women and children.
