Key military sites will be transferred within a month, Turkish Defence Minister Fikri Isik announced on Friday.

He gave no further details on the military overhaul.

Turkish plans to restructure its armed forces are aimed at eliminating the possibility of another coup attempt and the moves will be in line with the structure and spirit of the NATO alliance, Isik said on Friday.
