UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum received Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and Colombia and means of developing trade, economic, tourist and investment cooperation.

Shaikh Mohammed and the President of Colombia attended a ceremony during which two agreements were signed on avoiding double taxation and protecting mutual investments.

Obaid bin Humaid Al-Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, signed the agreement on behalf of the UAE, with Mauricio Cardenas Santamaria, Minister of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia, and Maria Lorena Gutierrez, Colombia's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
