Contemporary design, art and fashion brand OTHER has collaborated with denim brand Lee Jeans on a new collection. The design team at OTHER, Matthew Murphy and Chloe Struyk, have created a unisex collection based on core signature Lee styles and the idea of handcrafted customisation. Inspiration for this unique denim collection was found in images of vintage Japanese work-wear. In-order to achieve this finish OTHER referenced its SS13 collection by using its prints on silk and chambray. Further details include hand-embroidered polka dots seen on men’s jeans, dip dye bleaching on the top yoke and waistband of the Scarlett jeans and large patches of fabric are seen on the knees of the jeans and elbows of the Rider jacket. Launching on 8 August, this limited edition collection will be available exclusively at OTHER, online and in-store.
