Tunisian Interior Minister Al Hadi Majdoob said that the security dealing with the violent acts in stadiums is not enough, saying that the matter needs increasing cooperation during the coming period to eliminate this phenomenon as soon as possible.
He added, in press statements, that Tunisian security forces exert increasing efforts to secure the best conditions for the matches, saying that they give priority to the safety of security of the fans attending the matches.
He stressed that they exert efforts to achieve this objective as soon as possible, while the security treatment is not enough to eliminate the violence in the stadiums. He added that the matter needs cooperation between the different parties, saying that the matter is not limited to the security role, as the football officials should bear their responsibility in this regard.
He noted that the football stadiums witnessed notable increase during the recent period, saying that they are keen to secure the organizational issues related to the match. He stressed that they work to meet their commitment on the security level, while the other parties need to perform their role to contain the phenomenon.
