Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa underlined the role of youths in building their nation and realizing development.

On the fringe of Egypt's Youth Conference which opened on Tuesday, Gomaa highlighted the importance of protecting youths from extremist thought through disseminating the moderate teachings of Islam.

Gomaa urged the ministry's religious convoy members who went to South Sinai for second time this month to keep in touch with South Sinai people and spread the moderate teachings of Islam.
