The First Vice - President and National Prime Minister, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, received in his office Monday the Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges, Engineer Makawi Mohamed Awad, and the Chadian Minister of Infrastructures and Transport, Adam Yonsimi, and discussed outcome of the visit of the Chadian minister and establishment of a railways and roads between the two countries.
The minister said the meeting has discussed linking the railways between Nyala, Genaina and Adri until establishment of the railway line between Port-Sudan - Genaina and Adri, besides establishment of Adri crossing at the border between Sudan and Chad.
The Chadian minister said that the meeting has discussed utilization of Port-Sudan harbor by the Republic of Chad and the challenges facing the movement of trade between Sudan and Chad.
