Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units, and got briefed on the work process there and the units’ military and administrative readiness.
The commander-in-chief urged everybody to continue exerting tremendous efforts to achieve the forecast national goals, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
He asserted that the BDF servicemen are the symbol of loyalty and national belonging thanks to their dedication in serving the nation and outstanding ability to carrying out the duties and tasks assigned to them in the country and abroad.
Through their determination and ability to rise up to the challenges, the BDF personnel have proved their proficiency in various military and scientific disciplines, and shown that they are up to the responsibilities entrusted to them, he said, stressing that the BDF servicemen are the bulwark of the nation and its citizens.
The commander-in-chief thanked the BDF officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel for their high morale and discipline which, he said, is a source of pride.
He also said the BDF has reached, thanks to the aptitude of its highly-qualified staff and the standards of its modern weapons, the highest level of military and administrative readiness that match those of the most modern armies in the region.
