The ERC signed an agreement with traders to provide Eid sacrifices and clothes to the families of martyrs and the wounded in Yemen, as part of the 'Zayed's Legacy to Support Yemeni People' campaign.
The campaign is part of the efforts being made by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the brotherly Yemeni people, and follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to support the families of the martyrs and the wounded for the sacrifices they made while defending their land. The campaign coincides with Eid Al Adha.
Engineer Mohammed Al Ketbi, Director of the ERC, visited Al Azzani Clothes Store and signed an agreement with it to buy the Eid clothes for the families of the martyrs and the wounded in the governorates of Aden, Lahij, Abeen, Al Dhale, Taiz and Mocha.
"The work team will begin distributing the shopping coupons carrying the name of the campaign 'Zayed's Legacy to Support Yemeni People' to the families of the martyrs and the wounded starting this coming Saturday, and will provide all the facilities to ensure the coupons reach them easily," Al Ketbi noted.
The ERC Director also visited the cattle shop in Al Mansoura city and signed an agreement with one of the cattle providers to buy the sacrifices. He revealed that these sacrifices would be distributed to the eligible families in the governorates of Aden, Lahij, Abeen, Al Dhale, Taiz and Mocha by the beginning of the coming week.
The 'Zayed's Legacy to Support Yemeni People' campaign, which was launched on 20th August, will continue until the third day of Eid Al Adha in various Yemeni governorates, with the aim of making the families happy and supporting them.
The campaign coincides with another one titled 'Their Happiness is our Eid', which will be executed in 67 countries across the world and includes over 215,000 beneficiaries.
