Tripoli - Arab Today
UN envoy to Libya Martin Kobler said the Libyan parliament has ten days to give vote of confidence to the UN-backed Government of National Accord.
In a press statement on Monday, Kobler added that members of the government should swear in and start work soon.
Kobler also urged the government to continue work in Tripoli, noting that more international sanctions are expected to be imposed on a number of Libyan figures and entities for impeding the parliament's vote of confidence.
Meanwhile, the UN envoy voiced support for the statement issued Thursday by a number of Libyan lawmakers on backing the Government of National Accord.
