Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office launches Hajj initiative for families of martyrs

The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court has launched a special initiative for the family members of the UAE martyrs and the injured Armed Forces personnel to perform Hajj for the second consecutive year.

About 100 family members will take part in the pilgrimage this year, honouring the noble sacrifice of the UAE heroes and the injured personnel in defending the country and preserving its achievements.

The initiative is in co-ordination with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and in line with the vision of the Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office in promoting social and community cohesion.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, said that the initiative follows the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership, which focusses on channelling care and appreciation to the UAE’s martyrs and the injured personnel. He stressed the role of the Office in utilising all the resources and providing the necessary support to the families to perform Hajj this year.

The family members participating in this year's Hajj expressed their gratitude to the UAE's wise leadership for their continued support and generosity and to The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office for their role in facilitating all the necessary services and requirements.

The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office at the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi was established under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to support the martyrs’ families.
