Minister of State at Council of Ministers, Ahmed Fadul Abdalla, has underlined strength of relations between Sudan and Sultanate of Oman, renewing the State concern with the National Rec0ords House as, he said, stands a memory of the nation over course of historical periods.
This came when the Ministre of State received at the Council of Ministers, Tuesday, Chairman of the Omani Records and Archives Corporation, Dr Hamad bin Mohamed and his accompanied delegation in presence of the Secretary-General of the National Records House, Professor Kabashour Kokou.
The Minister of State laude the smart partnership between the National Records House and the Records and Archives Corporation in Sultanate of Oman and called for exchange of experiences and expertise to enhance work in record domain.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in field of records.
The Chairman of Records and Archives Corporation in Sutanate of Oman, on his part, said the aim of this visit was to translate the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides in November of last year into executive program.
The Omani delegation, meanwhile, met with the Secretary-General of the Council for International People's Friendship (CIPF), Engineer Abdul-Monem Al-Sunni.
The meeting discussed scope of cooperation between Sudan and Sultanate of Oman and assured importance of reactivating the Sudanese-Omani Brotherhood Society.
The Omani delegation paid visit to Al-Khalifa and the National Museums to get acquainted with Sudan's history and civilization.
