The Chief stressed the importance to reinforce community partnership

Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan visited today the Private Guard Training School of the General Directorate of Guard as part of the field visits to various security departments.

The Chief highlighted that the visit aimed to monitor the workflow closely and adopted procedures to provide the best security services to implement the vision of the Interior Minister and the directives of the Interior Minister to continue with the modernisation and development through the enhancement of training based on the best international practices. 
He expressed thanks and appreciation to all employees of the General Directorate of Guard for their dedication and ongoing operation to protect the national security. 
The Chief stressed the importance to reinforce community partnership and interact with all segments of society to enhance awareness on risks of crimes and fight them.
During the visit, the Chief inspected the school and briefed on the workflow and the temporary buildings of the schools and the designs of the new buildings.
He was also informed about the history of the school and its missions, including training, research and developing the private security sector, also, to carry organisational aspects such as licences, regulate the operations of 41 private security companies and law enforcement.
He urged to continue with the same efforts, learn from other experiences and seek help from foreign trainers, highlighting the role of the private security companies in the protection of security.
The Chief accompanied by Deputy Chief of Public Security, Brigadier Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Brigadier Mohamed bin Daina and Assistant Undersecretary of Human Resources, Brigadier Adel Ameen.
