Egyptian authorities continued to open Rafah crossing for the second day running Tuesday to allow the stranded and humanitarian cases on both sides to cross.

Teams are working round the clock to quickly finalize traveler procedures and deliver assistance to the Gaza Strip.

Egypt's authorities opened the crossing exceptionally for five days to enable people stranded on the two sides to cross and deliver aid to the Gazans.
