Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa hailed the initiatives of the private sector in backing projects and programmes that serve the community. He pointed out that serving the community is a common responsibility that everybody has to shoulder to prosper, thrive and translate ideas into a reality benefiting citizens in the Southern Governorate.

The Southern Governor was speaking during a meeting with Chief Executive of VIVA Bahrain Alyan Al Wateed and Chairman of the ocompany's Government Affairs and Social Responsibility Programme Shaikh Zied bi Faisal Al Khalifa. He discussed with them common initiatives aimed at catering for the needs of the people in the Southern Governorate.

The Chief Executive of VIVA Bahrain lauded keenness of the Southern Governor to carry out purposeful and sustainable programmes, stressing readiness of the company to back those initiatives and ensure their continuity.
