President of the Republic, Omer Bashir, pointed out that Sudan looks forward for support from the Arab countries and their participation in the Arab Conference for Rehabilitation and Development in Sudan, which is scheduled to be held by the end of the current year in implementation of the recent Arab summit's decisions.
In his address before the second Arab Summit in Jordan, President Bashir thanked the Arab League's Secretariat General for its formation to a mechanism to follow up holding the conference and to make it a success.
He asserted Sudan welcome to more Arab investments in the field of agriculture, in implementation of the Arab food security initiative.
He said that Sudan hopes that the joint efforts will succeed in the full lifting of the economic sanctions from Sudan, writing off its debts and removing its name from the countries allegedly supporting terrorism.
