Backed by the Arab Coalition air force, the Yemeni National Army has advanced towards Makha, west of Taiz, to take control of the area and liquidate the pockets of Houthi-Saleh militias amidst major collapses among the ranks of coup militias.

"Confrontations are taking place in the eastern front of Makha after liberating the Khalid ibn Al Waleed Camp," a military source was quoted as saying by the Yemeni official news agency.

"The militias have suffered losses in lives and equipment as the army is advancing to take full control of the Makha Triangle," he added.
