Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday afternoon have shot a Palestinian girl at Qalandia military checkpoint near Ramallah, northern West Bank, under the pretext of an attack on Israeli soldiers.

The Palestinian red cross confirmed the shooting from the spot.

The girl is still unidentified, and her situation is still unknown.

While Israeli media claimed that she tried to carry out a “stabbing attempt”, eyewitnesses said that she posed no threat on the soldiers and that Israeli soldiers “opened fire suddenly and for no reason.”
