One Jordanian soldier who last year killed three American trainers pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
At a trial at a military court, the Jordanian soldier who was charged with murdering the three Americans said he was not guilty.
The court was adjourned until Wednesday and families of the American victims present at the court commended procedures taken by the court that was seeking to ensure a fair trial.
Last year, three American trainers were killed in an exchange of fire with a Jordanian soldier. A Jordanian officer was injured in the incident.
It occurred when the Americans' car entering the base did not obey orders from guards at the entrance of an airbase in Al Jafr area.
