Egyptian TV host, Magda Elkady said that her career began in the Egyptian television through covering many events of the art festivals, including the National Film Festival, Association Film Festival and Cairo Film Festival, noting that such festivals helped her to form her personality.
Elkady added, in exclusive interview with Arabs Today, that she did not found any difficult in dealing in the news channel, indicating that the aim of the media is to convey information to the recipient.
She added that her work in the news made her more mature, especially as she provides a number of economic news that concerns now every individual of the Egyptian and Arab people.
Elkady also pointed out that she reads more about the latest statements and interests of the guest before receiving him as well as full coverage of the subject to be discussed with the guest.
She pointed out that there is a difference between live broadcast and recorded dialogue, where the mistakes in the recorded dialogue can be corrected, while direct dialogue always does not tolerate any mistakes.
She explained that satellite channels are good channels that offer good material, but the Egyptian television remains the pioneer, adding that most of the satellite channel journalists have worked and acquired their experiences in Egyptian television, so they shine in these channels.
For her hobbies, she loves nature very much and poetry, novels and stories.
Regarding her recommendations to the beginners journalists, she advised them to focus on their work and reading well before conducting media dialogues to be ready for any unexpected question.
