Kuwait has condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a power station in the Iraqi city of Samarra, killing and injuring several people.

Kuwait News Agency quoted a senior Foreign Ministry source as reaffirming Kuwait's full support to all measures taken by Iraqi government to maintain the country's security and stability.

The source emphasised Kuwait's rejection of terrorism and all its forms and manifestations, expressing condolences for the Iraqi government and people, and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
