The Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission, IPHRC, of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has reiterated its dismay and shock at the recent and continuing wave of indiscriminate violence practiced by Myanmar State authorities against the Rohingya minority in Rakhine state, Myanmar.

The OIC strongly condemned these gross violations of human rights and called upon the Government of Myanmar to take immediate and effective action to put an end to all forms of human rights violations against innocent and unarmed Muslim Rohingyas
