Egypt’s Grand Mufti Shawki Allam on Wednesday said that Islam values forbid all kinds of intolerance and extremism.

The Mufti made the remarks in a speech to a seminar held at the Egyptian Iftaa House under theme "Uprooting extremism ideologies".

The ideologies adopted by the terrorist groups distort the image of moderate Islam, Allam said.
