The people need to leverage on the application of biotechnology in the agriculture industry to increase harvests and generate income, says Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Minister Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau today.

"I am proud of the technology introduced by the National Institute of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM) that can be adopted by the public through workshops. Thus, I hope the facilities developed can benefit all," he said when launching MOSTI's second phase of its Social Innovation Workshop, the application of a fertigation system in Kampung Lapasan near here.
