A new contract was signed between the Casablanca Transport Company and the Independent Transport Agency in Paris for development for the maintenance of the public transport network in the city of Casablanca for the period between 2017 and 2029, with a budget close to five billion dirhams.
Director General of the Independent Transport Agency Group in Paris Catherine Kellward said that expressed her pleasure for participating with Morocco especially in the transportation sector.
She also praised the level of cooperation between the mandate of Casablanca and the independent transport agency in Paris for development, which is concerned with the exploitation and maintenance of the public transport network.
She stressed that the signing of this new contract is an important building block in the partnership between the two parties.
She stressed that her institution intends to continue cooperation with the Casablanca Transport Company by taking over the operation and maintenance of all transport network systems in Greater Casablanca over the next 12 years and to use their experience to serve the interests of the residents of the Moroccan city as soon as possible.
She stressed the commitment of her institutions to keep pace with the development boom, defined by the economic capital of Morocco and contribute to the radiation of Casablanca, both continental and global, and make it a model in terms of sustainable cultural mobility.
