Goran Dragic started a game-closing 9-4 run with a 3-pointer Thursday, boosting Houston to a 96-89 victory over Phoenix. The Rockets won their third in a row, all on the road. Houston improved to 3-1 on its six-game road swing. Phoenix overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to take a seven-point lead in the third quarter, but fell behind again in the fourth. The Suns were within two points when Dragic hit his 3-pointer with 4:24 to play and Phoenix collapsed down the stretch. The Suns turned the ball over three times the rest of the way and produced only one field goal. Phoenix had a three-game winning streak snapped. Luis Scola led six players in double figures for Houston with 16 points. Kyle Lowry and Pat Patterson both had 14. The Rockets made half their 16 3-point tries and outrebounded the Suns by 13. Channing Frye scored 21 points for Phoenix.
