In “Live for Tomorrow” (published by Inspiring Voices), author Nancy Hann Skroko’s new historic romance novel, readers find themselves in Germany during World War I as a budding relationship is pushed to its limits. Based on stories Skroko’s grandmother told her when she was young, “Live for Tomorrow” recounts a tale about Karina Winkler and Baron Derek von Kampler. These two individuals fall in love, but their romance becomes disrupted by the horrors of the war going on around them. As the characters fight to keep themselves sane, alive and together, they give their life up to God to help them overcome the tragedies surrounding them. It is by His love and their faith that they come to rely on to push through their rocky surroundings.
