Singer Chris Brown

Chris Brown will reportedly perform on Dancing with the Stars and Saturday Night Live.
The 25-year-old singer is said to have booked the performances to promote his sixth studio album, X.
"In support and promotion for X, Chris will be doing the typical promotion slate to get the word out that the album is coming and that will include appearances and performances on both SNL and DWTS," an insider told Hollywood Life. "Everyone is very excited for this to happen and Chris really wants to make the appearances very memorable. Should be a very fun time."
Brown last released Fortune in 2012. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and includes the singles "Turn Up the Music" and "Sweet Love." The singer's fourth studio album, F.A.M.E., also debuted at No. 1 in 2011, but both F.A.M.E. and Fortune were met with negative reviews from critics.
Brown was released from a California jail in June after spending 108 days in prison for a parole violation. The singer was on parole for his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna when he assaulted a fan outside a Washington D.C. hotel in October 2013. He told Billboard in August he has learned from his mistakes and is ready to move forward.
X is scheduled for release September 16.
