The Advisory Council held Monday its regular weekly session during its 45th ordinary session under the chairmanship of HE Advisory Council Speaker Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi. 
At the outset of the meeting, the agenda that included the ratification of the meeting's minutes was read out. 
The council continued reviewing a draft law on national service in the presence of HE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah; HE Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi; and HE Director of the Prime Minister's Office Sheikh Saif bin Ahmed Al-Thani. 
The council decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee for further study.
