The General Geological Research Corporation received, Thursday, second batch of geological maps as part of first phase of agreement signed with Russian side.
Minister of Minerals, Dr Ahmed Mohamed Sadiq Al-Karuri considered during a joint meeting with Russian side , the geological map one of the important projects that directly link with information and study of the chosen areas and that it stands as evidence for firmness of relations with Russia in all fields.
Director-General of Geological Research Corporation, Dr Mohamed Abu Fatima, said the meeting with Russian side came with framework of follow-up implementation of deal signed between the two sides in October of last year.
He added work with Russian side would continue to complete the geological map that would be used in establishment of urban projects and dams.
