Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) firm Nestle India has posted an increase of 9.75 per cent in its net profit at Rs213.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30 as against Rs194.8 crore during the same period of the previous financial year.The net sales stood at Rs1,763 crore, up 20 per cent during the quarter under review as against Rs1,466.7 crore, the company said in a statement.“We have now for the 18th consecutive quarter delivered profitable double-digit growth. This is clearly the result of consistent execution of our focussed strategy by people, who I believe to be one of our main competitive advantage,” said company CMD Antonio Helio Waszyk.
