Samsung Engineering Co., South Korea\'s largest industrial plant builder, said Monday that its net profit rose 16.6 percent in the second quarter from a year ago on increased sales. Net profit came to 112.5 billion won (US$106.8 million) in the April-June period, compared with 96.4 billion won during the same period in 2010, Samsung Engineering said in a regulatory filing.
