The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices closed Sunday's session collectively up backed by wide purchases by investment funds and foreign institutions.
The market capital gained about 29.5 billion pounds to end today's transactions at 458.2 billion pounds amid trading which reached about 1.47 billion pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 6.12 percent to close at 9,349.90 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 4.18 percent to 365.38 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index inched up by 3.79 percent to hit 853.48 points.
