The Egyptian bourse witnessed a hike by 0.15 percent last week due to an increase of the local investors activity in the stock market. The bourse index, (EGX70), witnessed increased of 2.46 percent to 597 points while the (EGX100) index rose 1.87 percent to 926 points According to the weekly report of the bourse, released on Friday, the stock market capital amounted to 1.6 billion Egyptian pounds (EGP), trading reached to 210 million while transactions were at 80,000 during last week. The local investors accounted for 47.85 percent of the total transactions, foreign investors amounted to 47.53 percent while the arab investors reached to 4.62 percent. The net value of selling deals by foreign investors amounted to EGP 64.64 million while the valued of deals by Arabs stood at EGP 13.58 million. Market capital of last week increased to EGP 388 billion.
