The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange came to 6,388.7 points upon closing Thursday, a gain of 19.7 points, with the weighted index also ending up green at 453.71 points, a gain of 1.83 points, with the majority of sector indices also ending up in green territory. Trades came to 3,032 transactions worth KD 31,955,750 with 184,955,000 shares changing hands. The biggest gainer sector was services at an up of 81.9 points, followed by non-Kuwaitis at a gain of 67.8 points, and investment at a gain of 26.2 points. The two losers were the banks index at a slip of 92.7 points and the industry index at a down of 6.4 points. The food sector, meanwhile, showed no change in index. As for single share performance, the top gainer was the Al-Ahlia Holding Company stock, while worst hit was the Dar AL Thraya Real Esate Company share. Top volume shares for the day were those of Abyaar Real Estate Development Company, Global Investment House, National Ranges Company, International Financial Advisers, and Al-Mal Investment Company
