The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 34.64 points or 0.39% to 8,780.80 points from the previous closing of 8,815.44 . The volume of shares traded down to 12,279,764 from 12,653,307 on Wednesday, and the value of shares fell to QR487,881,577.68 from QR577,913,782.66 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share dropped by 2.87% to QR81.20, Doha Bank lost 1.69% to QR52.30, Gulf warehousing Co fell 7.32% to QR31.00 and General Insurance 2.96% to QR41.05. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 111.13 points while the Insurance sector added 12.63 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 95.08 points and the Services sector lost 6.37 points.
