The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 39.77 points or 0.47% to 8,458.87 points from 8,498.64 on Sunday. The volume of shares traded up to 7,684,228 from 7,453,309 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR334,058,928.40 from QR332,097,937.86 Sunday. Among the top losers were Masref Al Raayan whose share dropped by 1.84% to QR22.90,Al khalij Commercial Bank fell 1.30% to QR18.20, National Leasing down 1.31% to QR37.65 and General Insurance lost 2.41% to QR40.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector fell 117.29 points while the Insurance sector added 112.37 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 27.20 points and the Services sector lost 18.56 points.
