Suge Knight reportedly lied to authorities when he claimed one of the two men he ran over with his truck in January was armed.
Cle "Bone" Sloan's manager told TMZ his client was not carrying a weapon when he engaged in an altercation with Knight at the parking lot of Tam's Burgers in Compton, Calif.
A video unveiled by TMZ Monday showed an injured Bone handing something to a man before authorities arrived at the scene. His manager claims it was a walkie talkie and police have stated there was no gun at the scene.
The clip also sees Knight knocking another man to the ground after an altercation with Sloan. He then returns to the parking lot hitting Sloan again and Terry Carter. Carter died of his injuries.
Knight's attorney, Matthew Fletcher, said in a courtroom Monday the video proves his client was just reacting to an attack. The rap mogul, 49, pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder for the January incident.
Knight was out on bail from a September incident when the altercation took place.
