Islamabad - Arab Today
At least three gunmen and a Pakistani soldier were killed on Tuesday in clashes near the southwestern Balochistan province.
The clashes erupted when gunmen attacked a security checkpoint in Zhob town near the border with Afghanistan and killed a soldier, Pakistan border guard spokesman told Radio Sawa.
The soldiers traded fire with the gunmen, who are members of a banned terrorist organization, the spokesman added.
In a separate incident, Pakistan security forces detained two members of another terrorist group that targets gas pipelines in Balochistan.
