Tripoli - MENA
Three Libyan soldiers were killed and eight others wounded Thursday after a landmine exploded in Benghazi.
Spokesman for the Libyan Special Forces Milod el Zway told MENA that the landmine explosion was meant to block Libyan servicemen from advancing towards Quarsha axis.
The injured were carried to hospital for treatment, he noted.
Zway noted that Libyan troops took control of several sites and a petrol station in Quarsha and killed a number of Daesh militants there
