A field commander of the special Libyan forces was killed while six others were injured in clashes in Benghazi on Friday.

Fierce clashes are taking place between the army forces on the one hand and forces of Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries and Ansar al Sharia on the other, Spokesman of Libyan Special Forces Milod al Zewi told MENA. 

The injuries vary between slight and medium, Zewi further said.
