Hosni Sharif, father of Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni, denied recent circulating rumors that the relationship between him and his son is taking a turn for the worse. “My relationship with my son is excellent and what has been said about it being stressful is mere lies,” Husni Sharif said, adding, “Tamer is close to all his family and we support him every step of the way.” Hosni Sharif also said that in the upcoming days he and his son will record a new duet that he wrote and composed himself. The song is titled “Ana Jayeelak” (I’m coming to you) and they plan on filming a music video. Tamer and his father did not speak for three years after Hosni Sharif left Tamer’s mother for another woman. Tamer and his father finally reconciled during a family wedding.
