At least six civilians, including women and children, were killed and others wounded in airstrikes carried out by the Syrian army on Damascus countryside, SkyNews reported quoting sources of the Syrian opposition as saying Wednesday.
Syrian army helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Khan Sheih camp and its surroundings.
Meanwhile, government troops banned the access of food aid to Homs' Waer district which is under a siege for indefinite time.
UN High Commissioner for Refugees Affairs announced that assistance for the winter season will be available for as many as 4.5 million refugees and displaced people from Syria and Iraq and will be distributed on them in their camps in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan.
