Terrorists on Thursday blew up a car bomb in Ekrima neighborhood in Homs, claiming the life of a person and leaving 24 injured people, in addition to causing huge material damage to the houses and cars in the area. An official source told SANA that the terrorist bombing took place near Sahara Compound and Ggalyia Farhat School in Ekrima residential neighborhood which contains a popular market. The source added that the injured were transferred to hospitals of the city to get the suitable treatment. Governor of Homs, Ahmad Munir Mohammad, stressed during a visit to the injured that the necessary health services will be offered to them, affirming that the Syrians will remain unbowed by terrorism. The citizen Faraj Hammoud, 65 years, died of his wounds at al-Zai'm Hospital which received 13 injured, two of them in a critical condition. A medical source at al-Nahda Hospital said the hospital received 11 injured.
