Units of the Armed Forces continued on Saturday chasing the fleeing terrorists in the areas of Marj al-Sultan, al-Hajar al-Aswad and al-Sbeineh in Damascus Countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them. SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that an army unit carried out a special operation in which it targeted terrorists' dens in Marj al-Sultan in the Eastern Ghouta. Several cars were destroyed in the operation, with all the terrorist inside killed, the source noted. The terrorists Abo Kassem Sweidan and Ihsan Tabernin, leaders of two terrorist groups affiliated to the so-called 'Al-islam Brigade', were indentified among the dead. Terrorists Arfan al-Takli, Muhannad Sheikho and Firas Ammar were also killed. Meanwhile, two terrorists were killed and a third injured after an explosive device blew up while being planted in Sirghaya in Damascus Countryside. An official source told SANA reporter that terrorist Mohammad Ghousn was killed and terrorists Ali Anqoud was seriously injured in the explosion. SANA quoted a source in the province as saying that a unit of the Armed Forces carried out a qualitative operation in Jidar Bkafloun village, destroying several dens and arresting a number of terrorists in another den. Several terrorists were killed while the rest fled. In Maaret al-Nu'man, an army unit killed terrorists who tried to attack the area surrounding Wadi al-Dayf. The terrorist Suleiman Rashid Tanari, a leader of the so-called Ebad al-Rahman Brigade, was reportedly killed. SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that Mustafa al-Riz and Khalid al-Deek, leaders of two terrorist groups affiliated to al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra, and terrorist Alaa al-Furs were identified among the dead. In the same context, units of the Armed Forces targeted terrorists' dens and gatherings in Tal Dahab and al-Houleh areas. A military source told SANA reporter that the army units carried out several operations in the aforementioned areas in which they destroyed terrorists' dens with all the weapons and ammunition inside. The source noted that the dens included automatic rifles, machineguns, missiles, sniper rifles, grenades and amounts of various types of ammunition. Several terrorists were killed in the operations, the source added, pointing out that terrorists Rabie al-Haj, Omran al-Rajab, Amin al-Moussa, Yehia D'eimis, Faisal Baraq, Hashem al-Kilani, Mohamad al-Omari and Samer Hajjour were indentified among the dead. In the meantime, an army unit inflicted heavy losses upon members of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in the towns of Tal al-Shour and Tal al-Omari. A number of terrorists were killed, while others were injured. An Armed Forces unit destroyed a number of terrorist hideouts and gatherings along with the weapons, munitions and equipment inside them in the areas of Hasya, al-Daba'a and al-Ghanto, eliminating a number of terrorists including Khaled Bouzan, Samer al-Khouli, Mohammad al-Omar, Mustafa Bahbouh and Walid Jamal al-Nesh. Armed Forces Target Terrorists in Hama Countryside An Armed Forces unit targeted a gathering of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra between the villages of al-Huwaija and al-Hawash in Hama's northern countryside. The operation resulted in the elimination of a number of terrorists including one nicknamed Abi al-Lail who was responsible for making explosive devices and car bombs. Another unit carried out an operation in the farms of al-Huwaija, destroying a terrorist hideout. Army Units Repels Attacks on 2 Military Points in Daraa In the same context, an army unit repelled a terrorist group's attack on a military point in al-Sanamin city in the countryside of Daraa, killing a number of its members and injuring the others, a military source said. In a statement to SANA, the source added that large amounts of weapons belonging to the terrorists were seized. They included various types of machineguns, automatic rifles, RPGs and ammunition. The source also mentioned that another unit of the Armed Forces confronted an attack by a number of terrorists on a military point in al-Saho town, killing and injuring all of them. In the meantime, other army units pursued armed terrorist groups that were committing acts of looting in the towns of al-Shajareh, Beit Irra and al-Yadoudeh in the countryside. Many of the terrorists were killed, while others were injured.
